Windrush Farm Golf Classic

44 golfers hit the green for the first annual “Windrush Farm Golf Classic,” on Monday, October 5, 2009 raising more than $5,000 for our riders!

The tournament held at the beautiful Ferncroft Country Club in Danvers.

First place in the tournament was awarded to the Team Guiness foursome Scott Yianacopolus, Phil Burke, Bob Antonucci and Jim Mceachern; second place was awarded to Team Emma, Mike Shaw, Bob Cronnin, Bob Glendon, Larry Hogan.

Marsha Tartaglia and Peter McAllister made the longest drives and closest to the pin on hole were Barbara Russell and Karl Martone.

“It was wonderful to see the community so wholeheartedly embrace this event,” said Amanda Hogan, executive director at Windrush Farm. “We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, players, volunteers and spectators who helped to make this tournament a success.
