Horsemanship Program
(A non riding program)

Session 1: Monday & Thursday - June 28th - July 8th

Session 2: Monday & Thursday - July 12th - July 22nd
(4 days) - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Price: $200

If your child loves horses, but is not quite ready to ride, then this is the program you've been looking for. Offered in two week sessions for two days per week, youngsters will learn about the world of horses from the ground.

Participants will learn how to approach a horse safely, how to halter, lead, and groom. Working with our amazing volunteers, youngsters will take "their horse" for a walk through the many Windrush trails, practicing horsemanship and safety skills along the way. They will discuss different breeds, colors and markings as well as how horses communicate.

Recommended for children ages 6 and up.

Dress is comfortable/sensible barn clothes. No open toed shoes or sandals. Participants should bring a snack and drink.
