Summer Programs

Recreational Day Program
Recommended for youngsters ages 8-14, this week long day program offers a structured program that promotes fun and safety while teaching basic horsemanship skills through advanced techniques in horse management. (There is also one special week for 6 & 7 year olds!)

Horsemanship Program (A non-riding program)
If your child loves horses, but is not quite ready to ride, then this is the program you've been looking for. Offered in two week sessions for two days per week, youngsters will learn about the world of horses from the ground. Ages 6+

Youth-At-Risk Program
This program is geared towards inner city disadvantaged youth at risk who would benefit from a summer experience.

The goals of this program are to teach respect for animals and humans, to improve our students' learning skills, to help them learn to problem solve and to work together, and to build their self esteem. We also strive to give these children a week of fun, physical activity. Ages 10-14

Special Needs Program (half day / non riding)
This half day program is for youngsters with special needs.

Each child will have their own horse/pony for grooming, tacking, horse handling and care. Each 3 hour day will include a new equine activity designed to help the participants learn more about their horse friends through hands-on educational fun.
