Legacy Society members know that their generous gifts will immortalize their love of horses in a meaningful way, extending to new generations. In another half-century, children and adults alike will delight in the same golden afternoons spent along our wooded trails that our current clients now enjoy. Just like you, they will come to know the immeasurable joy of quiet moments spent with animals.
It is easy to become a Marj Kittredge Legacy Society member, and no immediate donation is necessary. Simply name Windrush as a beneficiary in your will or trust by either leaving a specific dollar amount/asset to the farm, or designating a percentage of your estate.
There are many benefits of a charitable bequest.
Autonomy. Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.
Flexibility. You can modify your bequest at any time, if your circumstances change.
Tax Perks. Your bequest may reduce estate taxes.
Freedom. Your gift can range in any size or value, and be funded with a variety of assets including cash, stocks, mutual funds, or IRAs
Control. You can specify in your bequest how your gift should be used, whether it is for one of our specific programs or you may choose to make your gift unrestricted, allowing us to prioritize where funds are needed the most. Your legacy is up to you.
