Windrush Farm Horses

Cookie 
15.0hh buckskin paint Quarter Horse gelding born in 2010. Cookie was Western broke and showed as a Western horse he now can be ridden English or Western and has smooth gaits and a great canter. Cookie is a sweet horse that loves people and enjoys going out on the trails.
Guinness 
14.2hh buckskin Mustang gelding, Guinness, born in 1994 in the wild in Nevada and rounded up at 3 years old. Guinness enjoys his job as a therapy pony and has a lovely temperament and super smooth gaits.
Judge 
15.0hh chestnut Haflinger gelding born in 2000. Judge used to do some eventing. Judge is a friendly therapy horse with a big sense of humor and steady gaits.
Lowki 
15.2hh red dun Quarter Horse/Friesian/Percheron gelding born in 2018. Came from Texas to Windrush Farm in 2023 as a green 5-year old and has been very well trained by Mandy Hogan. Lowki has stripes on his knees and hocks, he is polite and friendly with a strong work ethic. Fun to ride.
Mike 
Mike is a 15hh Haflinger who came to Windrush in April 2025 at the age of 7 and has settled in quickly. Mike was born in Missouri and has the same sire as Nate and was a driving horse on the State Fair show circuit. Mike was started under saddle in October 2024 and is learning fast. He is super friendly, loves people and has smooth gaits.
Miley 
Miley is a 15.1hh chestnut roan Irish Cob who came to Windrush Farm from Ireland in October 2024. Miley (aka Smiley Miley) was a field hunt horse in Ireland who is learning his new job at Windrush. He is an affectionate horse who loves people and other horses.
Nate 
Nate is a14.3hh Haflinger who has the same sire as Mike and also was a driving horse in the mid-West. He is quickly learning to become a riding horse and has smooth gaits. Nate loves people and is super friendly.
Opie 
15.3hh chestnut Quarter Horse born in 2010. Opie was a Champion Versatility Ranch Horse and Reiner in Texas and has lovely rhythmical gaits. Opie is a pleasure to ride on the trails. He came with Reyna from Texas and Opie and Ryena are turned out together at Windrush.
Paris 
14.3hh palomino Quarter Horse gelding. Paris was so named because Windrush purchased him during the Paris Olympics in 2025. Paris is a kind horse with comfortable gaits who loves people and cares about his riders.
Reyna 
15.3hh flea-bitten grey Quarter Horse mare. Reyna was a Champion Versatility Ranch Horse and Reiner from Texas Reyna had a foal in 2019 called Rocket. Reyna is a joy to work with and ride, she is grounded and dependable.
Smoke 
15.2hh bay paint Appendix Quarter Horse who has a Western background. Smoke is comfortable to ride and has a great brain.
Stanley 
14.0hh dark brown Morgan gelding born in 2010. Stanley has comfortable gaits and is fun to ride. He enjoys trail rides and jumping and has a great pony canter.
Teagan 
15.2hh dark brown paint mare PMU baby born in 2004. Teagan was a novice event horse, she is well schooled and responsive to ride. Teagan takes care of any level rider.
Tex 
Tex (from Texas!( arrived in the Summer of 2025. An easy-going chestnut quarter horse that takes life as it comes and is very chill.
Gunner 
Chestnut quarter horse that is with us until the Spring of 2026

Wanda 
Your memory will be cherished for ever, you taught so many to ride from 2002 to 2019.
Cricket 
We will always remember your beautiful eyes and how you took care of your riders. Thank you Cricket for bringing joy to so many riders from 2013 to 2020
Killian 
Elegant Killian was a high quality eventer, with great dressage movements, who once won the USEA Training Horse of the YEAR!
Tucker 
.Dapple grey Connemara gelding. One of the most dependable, versatile and loved ponies ever. Ambassador at events. Won 2019 PATH Intl., Region 1, Equine of the Year. Had his own article in the Boston Globe on December 18, 2021!
Sweetie 
15.2hh chestnut Quarter horse mare. Sweetie as her name suggests was so kind and a pleasure to ride.
Flicka 
Flicka is one of the kindest horses you can imagine and a barn favorite. She taught so many children to ride and in June 2023 returned to her owner for a much-deserved retirement! We will miss her very much - thank you Flicka
Swifty 
Swifty was so sweet, gentle and a joy to ride
 
Squash was such a sweet horse, we were lucky to have him at Windrush for many years
 
Woody 
Woody was one of our exceptionally well-trained horses. An attractive chestnut quarter horse, he was also one of the kindest members of our herd and was much loved by so many.
Willa 
One of our sweetest ever Willa, was a small Haflinger mare that took after so many of our clients for years. We will miss her enormously.
